The 2020 Bond Workshop for public library directors and trustees on the subject of planning a building project will be held on Tuesday, May 19 from 1:30-3:30pm ET in Room 401 at the Indiana State Library. Presenters are Jane Herndon of Ice Miller and Belvia Gray and Ryan Fetters from Baker Tilly. Among the topics covered are project planning, finance, taxpayer/voter responses, and preparing to present to fiscal approval bodies. Issuing bonds requires attention to debt repayment and tax rate effects during and after the completion of the construction project.
Whether planning a project now or sometime in the future, plan to attend to learn from professionals who can help you learn what you need to know to successfully navigate a construction project.
This workshop is worth 2 General LEUs.
