This workshop's primary benefit is to small and medium-sized Indiana public libraries that do not have full-time bookkeepers or accountants. The course’s main focus is on basic accounting principles and transaction recording. The purpose of the course is to provide guidance to directors and library trustees and library staff in understanding State Board of Accounts accounting requirements as outlined in the manual http://www.in.gov/sboa/4450.htm:
