This talk is targeted to management at public libraries who are involved with budget and forecasting process. This requires a basic understanding of the budget forms in the Gateway.

 

The following are topics for discussion:

 

  • Budget Development
  • Possible Causes of Funding Shortfalls
  • Budgeting with Property Tax Caps
  • Forecasted Cash Flow Analysis
  • Managing Budget Deficits
